DevOps Engineer

Worked in a DevOps team at the Swedish Public Employment Service during my internship. The team was responsible for internal developer platforms, automation, application management and technical support to other teams.

• Contributed to the team’s deployment, upgrade and patching work for Jira and Confluence in a test environment using Ansible Tower within Ansible Automation Platform, including preparation, execution and verification before production release.
• Developed and validated a containerised Jira solution with PostgreSQL in an OpenShift test environment, using Helm for deployment, upgrades and rollback, Tekton for automated deployment validation, and the Elastic APM Agent for application monitoring and alerting in Kibana.
• Implemented a delivery workflow in which Bitbucket webhooks triggered Tekton pipelines to build container images with Buildah, while Argo CD synchronised version-controlled deployment configuration with OpenShift through GitOps.
• Created practical guides and an onboarding checklist in Confluence covering tool setup and workflows. The materials were delivered as part of the internship and made available across the organisation.
• Planned and tracked work in Jira using Kanban, contributing to team planning, retrospectives and Big Room Planning.
• Completed an internal course in Jira administration.
