DevOps Engineer

Worked in a DevOps team at the Swedish Public Employment Service during the internship. Contributed to internal developer platforms, automation, application administration and maintenance, as well as operational support across teams.

• Contributed to Jira and Confluence deployment, upgrades and patching in the test environment using Ansible Tower within Ansible Automation Platform, working with the team through preparation, execution and verification.
• Developed and validated a containerised Jira solution with PostgreSQL on OpenShift, using Helm for deployment, upgrades and rollback, Tekton for automated deployment validation, and the Elastic APM Agent for application monitoring and alerting in Kibana.
• Automated configuration with Ansible and worked with Tekton pipelines and Argo CD deployments, applying Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices with code and configurations version-controlled in Bitbucket.
• Provided technical support across teams and shared solutions developed during the internship to help colleagues resolve technical problems.
• Created practical guides in Confluence and an onboarding checklist, documenting tool setup and workflows to support knowledge sharing.
• Planned and tracked work in Jira using Kanban, contributing to team planning, retrospectives and Big Room Planning.
• Completed an internal course in Jira administration.
